A Leaf’s Glee
Every leave has its own special way !
And I enter your office known unknown,
Warm smile, greetings of you husky tone.
I arise to commence afresh,
Deleting the previous pain to thrash.
One by one your questions flow,
Outward confidence, hesitation below.
Layer by layer, truth does unfold,
Fear, worry, yet a smile to withhold.
Alas, arrives the deciding moment,
Welcome songs or Goodbye consonants.
Soon the gloom turns to implausible glee,
I, the lucky leaf, amongst the whole tree?
Every leave has its own special way,
With fresh desires, hopes and joy, I begin my new today.
