When The Heart Cries!

~

Bed of solitude underlies,

Mirror searches a virtue in the vice,

Repressed, suppressed, failed unties,

Once again the heart cries!

~

Not the first time, these good byes,

Life falls back yet again after the rise,

Fortune plays the same old dice,

Once again the heart cries!

~

Away it flies,

To the dark aloof skies,

A little more it dies,

Once again the heart cries!

Till The End !

Broken heart misses a few pieces,

The past haunts, its existence never ceases.

A silent knock settles upon the aching heart,

Will you help me make a fresh start?

If I bare my wounds to you,

Will you heal them, rejuvenate too?

Will my depth learn to laugh again?

Will you bear me crack lame jokes and go insane?

Will you leave and walk away?

Or will you stay to find a way?

And if I open my heart to you once again,

Will you be there for me till the end?

Vipassana

.

Locked in silence

I wonder

.

All touch, words and share

I surrender

.

Silent senses makes way for

The hidden and the sealed

.

Under Vipassana, I prepare to heal

The unhealed

.

A long distance to span

For the wholeness

.

A long distance to span

For the Oneness!

Vipassana, which means to see things as they really are, is one of India’s most ancient techniques of meditation. It was taught in India more than 2500 years ago as a universal remedy for universal ills, i.e., an Art of Living.

Shadows Shed The Ugly Skin!

Plucked away, abandoned, called them ‘Sin’,
Discarded thoughts but hail from the same mental kin.
Releasing the repressed thoughts from the subconscious bin,
Life evolves when shadows shed the ugly skin!

~

Cacophony, the thoughts and their noisy din,
Dumped and forgotten, they lay suppressed emblazoning the grief within.
Ferocious wings behind the tiny fin,
Life evolves when shadows shed the ugly skin!

~

Life is but a balance of Yang and Yin,
To heal, I choose to accept the hidden malign.
Evolution is to fail, then learn and finally win,
Life evolves when shadows shed the ugly skin!

Two Lessons

Static. I stare.
Finite horizon. Memories the waves wear.
Setting Sun. End closer.
Parting eases with a closure.

~

Final words by the Sun.
A small sorry. Resent undone.
Waves flow smoother. Relationship real.
Don’t run away. Apology is ideal.

~

Two lessons learned.
Things could have turned.
If only you were concerned.
If only you were concerned.

I Wonder about the Wonderful World!

Woman-LookingOutToSeaOnRock

I wonder about the wonderful world,
Is it still there or has it dulled?

~

I wonder what am I supposed to feel?
Am I to be happy and move on, or be angry, just a lill?

~

Yet, when I look deep down,
There is just another frown.

~

A frown telling me , ‘Not Again!’
A frown asking me, ‘Have I not had enough of such pain?’

~

And I wonder if my guilt is now set free?
Will it? Can it ever be?

~

I wonder what made you do, what you did,
Did we both deserve such an extreme deed?

~

I wonder about the wonderful world,
Is it still there or has it dulled?

The Gantantrata Returns! (Part 2)

(Part 1 of the Poem – The Swatantrata Returns – Independence Day Poem)

Career banana aaye hum, yeh behtar insaan kaise bane?
Safalta ki chah rakhne waale, insaaniyat ke beejh kaise jane?
Tab kisi Samvidhan ki suni pukaar,
Avaaz me thi nami, aasuo bhari thi uski lalkaar.

Jabse main aabad hua hoon, apno se barbaad hua hoon.

Jabse main aabad hua hoon, apno se barbaad hua hoon.

Janhit ke buland iraade, ab iske aage kya kahe?
Saksham hoon, saakaar main, praman ki daad bana hoon,
Paisatva janmadin hai mare, par paisath soon baar mara hoon.

Jabse main aabad hua hoon, apno se barbaad hua hoon.

Sabko bhasan ki aazaadi, par meri boli main khud hi pee rahe hoo.
Samta ko banaya fark vyavastha, nyay ko banaya nark vyavastha,
Dikhlaya tha kaunsa rasta, note bhari nigahon ne phir kyon bhara apna hi basta.

Jabse main aabad hua hoon, apno se barbaad hua hoon.

Jalata hoon main bhi, jab chalti hai vispot ki aag,
Ghutta hai dum mera bhi, aarakshan aur dange jab laadte hai mujhepar hi daag.
Sabke aage prashna pada hai – Desh bada ya Swarth bada hai?
Isspar bhi khamosh jahan hai, toh phir mera dosh kahan hai?

Jabse main aabad hua hoon, apno se barbaad hua hoon.

Janta haath bandh baithi hai, samta maum baandh baithi hai,
Mera galat arth karte ho, sab gun gaan varth kate ho,
Pehredaaro aakhain kholo , dil par haath rakhkar bolo,
Jaisa Hindustan dikha raha hai, aisa mujheme kahan likha hai?

Jabse main aabad hua hoon, apno se barbaad hua hoon.

Chahe mausam sharminda hai, loktantra mujhse jinda hai,
Main tuta toh sab tuteha, behtar ka arth chootega.
Behtar banana ki chah hai, toh battar ko kaaton,
Agar pyaar hai mujhse toh meri raksha ki pehredaari niyat aur imaandari se baato.

Jabse main aabad hua hoon, apno se barbaad hua hoon.
Samvidhan hoon Bharat ka main, haan tumko, jee haan tumko hi lalkaar raha hoon.
